CVS Expands COVID Vaccination Sites To 51 CT Locations - Patch.com

CONNECTICUT - With the rollout of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine has come a huge expansion in the number of inoculation sites in Connecticut.

Those interested can register now, but as should be expected, appointments are filling up rapidly.

CVS Pharmacy was already administering vaccines as part of the Federal Pharmacy Program, which means they receive doses directly from the federal government separate from the Connecticut allocation, and now has begun receiving shipments of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

Scheduling began Friday at these locations with inoculations set to begin Saturday:

Residents currently eligible to receive the vaccine under Connecticut's program include everyone over the age of 55, as well as all healthcare personnel, medical first responders, residents and staff of long-term care facilities, residents and staff of select congregate settings, and preK-12 school staff and professional childcare providers.
