COVID-19 vaccine in Colorado: Who is eligible in phase 1B.4 starting around March 21? - The Denver Post

A new timeline and grouping for COVID-19 vaccines, Phase 1B.4, is scheduled to start around March 21 and people 50 or older will be among the vaccinated, according to the state.

The new phase, announced Friday by Gov. Jared Polis, is expected to vaccinate about 2.5 million Coloradans.

Phase 1B.4 will include:

  • People 50 and older
  • Student-facing higher education faculty and staff
  • Frontline essential workers in food/restaurant services, manufacturing, U.S. Postal Service, public transit and specialized transportation, public health and human services
  • Faith leaders
  • Frontline essential direct care providers for people experiencing homelessness
  • Frontline essential journalists
  • Continuity of local government
  • Continuation of operations for state government
  • Adults who received a placebo during a COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial
  • People 16-49 with one high-risk health condition

On Friday Gov. Jared Polis also moved up the timeline for when the general public can expect to begin getting access to COVID-19 vaccines, from summer to late April or early May.
